Senior Marketing Campaign Manager – Compete at Citrix. This role reports to the Director of Performance Marketing and leads aggressive marketing campaigns designed to displace competitors. The ideal candidate is data-driven, results-obsessed, and excels at turning competitive insights into decisive action that drives technology adoption. Responsibilities
Develop and lead the execution of aggressive, multi-channel compete campaigns designed to convert customers from rival companies and deepen account intimacy. Collaborate on competitor analysis to identify strategic weaknesses, product gaps, and market opportunities to exploit with targeted marketing programs. Design and implement "always-on" competitive campaigns to maintain pressure, intercept key accounts, and continuously capture market share. Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, from intelligence gathering and strategy formulation to execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis. Partner with external agencies to ensure competitive campaign activities are sharp, on-brand, and focused on achieving goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the company’s subject matter expert and primary driver for competitive marketing campaigns, aligning GTM, product, content, and legal around a unified approach. Work closely with GTM teams, providing messaging, content, and support to win head-to-head deals. Translate complex competitive intelligence and business objectives into clear, actionable campaign plans. Communicate campaign strategies, progress, and results with leadership and stakeholders with clarity. KPIs, Inspection & Reporting
Define and own KPIs for all competitive campaigns (e.g., displacement rates, logos acquired from target competitors, market share shifts). Lead post-campaign assessments to analyze performance and identify lessons for future campaigns. Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build dashboards showing campaign performance against competitors. Analyze data to measure account takeovers and optimize strategies for impact and efficiency. Manage the competitive campaign budget with accuracy and provide forecasts and spend updates. Competitive & Market Intelligence
Monitor the competitive landscape, understanding rivals’ strategies, products, pricing, and vulnerabilities. Work with market intelligence to ensure a steady stream of actionable insights for campaigns. Use customer and competitive data to craft targeted messaging highlighting Citrix’s advantages. Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proven experience in campaign management or performance marketing with a focus on competitive strategy in B2B technology. Track record of campaigns that have measurably impacted competitors and driven business growth. Tenacious, results-obsessed mindset with proactive problem-solving. Strong analytical skills and experience with competitive intelligence. Excellent project management and ability to lead high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and influencing skills for cross-functional leadership. Data-driven with expertise in marketing analytics, reporting, and building business cases. Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua), CRM systems, and competitive intelligence tools. Fluent in English (oral and written). Qualifications
