Growth & Marketing Director / Chief Marketing Officer This is the role you’ve been building towards – full control, big ambition, serious firepower, a committed founder, and the chance to build a $100M+ growth marketing machine from scratch. This is your shot to design and run the $100M+ growth engine behind a fast-growing group of industrial businesses – with global reach, direct founder access, and serious commercial impact. You’ll work directly with founder Josh Beaver and key leaders to drive growth across every business we own. Serious autonomy – own the strategy, team, budget, and systems. No politics. No blockers. Group-wide scope – across multiple businesses and their brand stack, plus holdco & founder brand. Real ambition – a career-defining role building the machine that powers a $100M+ group. What You’ll Own
Marketing strategy – 3-year growth & marketing roadmap across every business and brand. Build the team – hire and lead A-players across growth, content, product marketing, and ops. Brand architecture – strategy, positioning and key messaging for all brands. Content engine – build a high-quality content production engine across all target media & platforms. Demand gen – warm outreach, cold outreach, organic content, paid ads – tested, measured, scaled. Funnel design – offers, lead magnets, landing pages, nurture sequences, automation, CRO. Sales enablement – deal sequences, nurture content, and tools that lift win rates and deal velocity. Customer marketing – programs to nurture, retain and grow share of wallet in existing accounts. Product marketing – value proposition, segmentation, go-to-market strategy, new product ideas. Employer brand & recruitment marketing – attract A-player talent to all group businesses. M&A marketing – build acquisition deal flow and integrate acquired businesses fast. Tech stack – all customer-facing systems across marketing, sales, and support. Data & optimisation – track what matters, optimise relentlessly, double down on high ROI activities. Who You Are
Strategic and tactical – you can design the system, and run it too. Commercially obsessed – you live by your results (hard numbers, not fluffy cloud BS). Direct and decisive – no pointless meetings or chit-chat, just action and outcomes. Data-driven – you run the growth machine by the numbers, not by 'feels'. Hungry to build – ambitious, competitive, and looking to help build an empire. Experience – 10+ years' driving growth marketing in high-performance environments; built and led internal teams; experience with demanding founders scaling private companies; brand & content experience preferred; B2B in complex technical sales environments a plus.
