Overview
Role: Digital Marketing & CRM Manager at Common Waste. We are seeking a Digital Marketing & CRM Manager to lead and scale our performance-driven marketing engine. This person will be responsible for owning and optimizing digital acquisition efforts (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, SEO, email), overseeing landing page performance, and driving CRM and data marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong marketing instincts with a deep command of data, automation tools, and performance analysis.
This role is highly cross-functional, working closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to generate qualified leads, reduce cost per acquisition, and increase marketing ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, Meta/Facebook, and other performance channels
Own and manage the CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to track lead lifecycle, customer engagement, and conversion metrics
Build and test SEO-optimized landing pages (via tools like Webflow, Unbounce, or WordPress)
Create and manage email marketing workflows for nurturing leads and reactivating customers
Track, report, and improve KPIs like cost per lead, cost per acquisition, cost per revenue dollar, ROAS, etc.
Segment audiences and personalize campaigns using behavioral and demographic data
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and design on digital assets
Develop A/B testing plans across ads, landing pages, and email campaigns
Ensure clean data flow between marketing platforms and CRM
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in digital marketing, with proven results in performance channels (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta)
Strong command of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign) and marketing automation platforms
Proficient in Google Analytics, Tag Manager, UTM tracking, and campaign attribution
Ability to build landing pages using tools like Webflow, Unbounce, Elementor, or similar
Strong analytical skills; Excel/Sheets proficiency required
Experience optimizing SEO content and pages for ranking and conversion
Familiarity with email campaign tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar)
Detail-oriented, resourceful, and highly organized
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Bonus: Experience in waste/recycling, logistics, or multi-location services
