Job Description

Senior Quality Assurance Analyst wanted by a wireless & broadcast communications system provider in Woburn, MA. Participate in critical analysis, design, and change review meetings for software developed in-house; or by outside third parties. Define software validation processes, guidelines, and standards. Provide software validation, design controls, and risk management training. Generate metrics to assess software quality and evaluate results. Report and track defects. Participate in the communication and analysis of test results and patterns, providing feedback loop to requirements gathering, design, and development teams. Administer configuration control systems for product development tools software. Oversee software releases, ensuring internal or external customers' acceptance of requirements and success criteria. Contribute to process improvements by developing and/or updating written Company or departmental procedures related to software development and testing based on industry standard quality assurance best practices.

Responsibilities

Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in any field, plus a minimum of 5 years of work experience in quality assurance in job offered or similar roles. Also requires 5 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

SQL BI Tools Validating Data by running queries in the database Reviewing and validating data quality Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Creating Test Plan, Test Scripts, Defects
