Overview
We are seeking an Account Specialist, Land Acquisitions to join American Towers U.S. divisions Land Acquisition team. The team fuels growth through analyses and acquisitions of real estate opportunities within the wireless infrastructure industry. Day to day, you will negotiate business terms with landlords regarding necessary consents and additional land needs required to facilitate carrier collocation projects. As an Account Specialist you will partner with cross-functional groups, such as the Legal Operations and Leasing Operations teams, to deliver transaction updates and assist with project close-out processes. Responsibilities
Negotiate and project-manage carrier-driven land rights projects (i.e., consents, additional land, etc.). Review proposed transaction language and associated materials to identify issues; partner with appropriate functional teams, including Legal Operations and Leasing Operations, to resolve. Assist with real estate opportunities, including but not limited to pipeline management, data integrity, financial approvals in our CRM system, deliverables management, and landowner outreach. Achieve project closeout targets within designated cycle times. Prepare and present to landowners written and verbal presentations, using established negotiation techniques. Provide cross-functional partners with updates and reports regarding the status of projects and negotiations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelors degree required, with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or Law preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally. Strong organizational skills and an ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. Ability to understand financial concepts, financial models, and real estate interests (leases, easements, etc.). A willingness to grow and expand the scope of responsibilities within the Land Acquisitions team. About Us
