Available Shifts:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM 3rd Shift: Monday-Saturday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM 4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM As a Metal Finishing Technician , you will operate equipment to perform metal finishing processes such as cleaning, etching, desmutting, pickling, plating, and drying. Load, unload, rack, and un-rack parts using manual or powered equipment, and follow set procedures to process parts in tanks. Monitor solution temperatures, inspect parts for quality, maintain clean work areas, assist with chemical handling, record production data, and troubleshoot basic issues.
These Metal Finishing Technicians require a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience or training. They must have the ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence, and communicate effectively with others. The role also requires the ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve routine problems. Physical demands include the ability to stand, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear as needed. Frequent use of hands to handle tools, objects, or controls is necessary, along with the ability to regularly lift or move up to 30 pounds. Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment; these vision requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.

$20.44 to $24.94 per hour
