Job Summary
The Retention Specialist has responsibilities that include, but are limited to, providing support services for students to promote retention and academic success. The Retention Specialist will engage students in a variety of student services activities to ensure progression towards graduation, leading to career or transfer goals; works in collaboration with faculty, various student support services professionals and student at the college. This position may supervise student workers. This is an exempt position that reports to LSCPA's Advising Department.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Two (2) years of student retention or related experience at a college or university Experience in student development/engagement, academic advising, early alert intervention, and working with high-risk students from diverse backgrounds Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish
SALARY $38,000 - $43,000
Work Hours Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. Some overtime maybe required occasionally.
