Job Summary
The Director of Fiscal Management Services has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, overseeing all banking transactions including those transactions entered in USAS (uniform Statewide Accounting System) as well as provides key support for the budget process. The position will also provide oversight in the absence of the Executive Director of Student Business Services as it relates to student business account services and related data, work on special reports and prepare ad hoc report as needed. This is an exempt position that reports to LSCPA's Finance Department.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university Five years of experience on similar jobs leading to this Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education Three years of supervisory experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
SALARY $80,000.00 - $85,000.00
Work Hours Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week

Completes a variety of reconciliations between various financial systems

Completes investment reports and updates investment reporting area of website

Performs calculations and ensures tuition is submitted to the State in accordance with State guidelines and best practices

Monitors Banner accounts receivable reports under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Business Services as needed

Assist in the yearly financial reporting process (AFR) at the request of the Executive Director of Financial Services (as need) on an adhoc basis

Reconcile quarterly USAS with the Legislative Budget Board's (LBB) Accounting System (ABEST)

Reconcile state cost centers and perform other reconciliations as needed

Reconcile accounting and finance reconciliations as needed

Perform daily accounting tasks including: approving EPAFS, activating positions in Banner, and answering campus customers with budget requests

Review other monthly tasks including travel card clearing, procurement clearing, supply center clearing, Market Basket clearing, and fuel reimbursement for Physical Plant.
