Equipment Painter

to join our Paint Department and ensure that every unit leaving our facility looks as strong as it performs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven painting skills who wants to grow with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and safety.

What You'll Do As an Equipment Painter, you'll apply your expertise to prepare, prime, and paint equipment to the highest standards. Your day-to-day work will include: Reviewing painting requirements with the Lead to ensure job specifications are met. Operating and maintaining Plural Component, Conventional, Airless, and Air Assist Airless spray equipment. Painting trailers and applying stripes with consistent, high-quality finishes. Mixing paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications to achieve proper consistency and viscosity. Preparing parts or units for painting using forklifts, hand trucks, and sanding equipment. Assembling, cleaning, and repairing spray guns and paint equipment as needed. Inspecting painted parts for quality and making spray gun adjustments as necessary. Maintaining booth cleanliness, changing filters, and managing hazardous waste safely. Providing direction to less experienced employees and supporting a collaborative team environment. Following all safety protocols, including respirator certification and hazardous waste procedures. What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of experience with spray equipment, power washers, orbital sanders, paint systems, and related tools. Automotive or industrial equipment painting experience required; body work experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Good communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable using a computer to track labor and access work instructions. Certified forklift operator or ability to complete Schwing training. Physical Demands

Work performed 100% on the production floor in a paint booth environment. Lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Annual respirator re-certification required due to exposure to hazardous dust, fumes, and coal tar. Why Join Schwing?
