Description
The Senior QA Analyst (UAT Focus) will play a key role in ensuring the quality and successful implementation of a large-scale ERP system replacing legacy systems used by multiple entities. This role emphasizes User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cross-entity integration, and centralized testing to validate that ERP integrations meet mission-critical and statutory requirements. The Senior QA Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and agency representatives to lead UAT planning, execution, and defect management, ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws, particularly those governing financial regulations. Experience with writing test scenarios and detailed test scripts to be able to validate different combinations of business scenarios from user stories. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of UAT across multiple agencies and business systems integrating into the ERP system. Partner with business stakeholders to define UAT scope, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and sign-off processes. Evaluate individual agency business systems to ensure ERP integration supports their core functions and statutory obligations. Collaborate with QA leads, automation engineers, and developers to prioritize and implement centralized testing, minimizing redundancy across entities. Oversee end-to-end UAT execution, including test case creation, test data preparation, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Facilitate defect triage and resolution, ensuring timely communication between business users, development teams, and project leadership. Provide training, guidance, and support to business users participating in UAT. Ensure compliance with applicable State and federal financial regulations, as well as state project management standards and governance. Deliver comprehensive UAT status reports and defect metrics to project leadership and stakeholders. Support integration testing of third-party/agency business systems to confirm readiness for ERP deployment. Other duties assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science; 5+ years relevant experience Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft) Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, HP ALM). Strong analytical skills for evaluating system functions and mapping test scenarios to business/mission-critical needs. Ability to drive continuous improvement in UAT processes, reducing redundant efforts across agencies. Experience with System Development Life Cycle models (Waterfall, Rapid Application Development, Spiral Model, Agile, etc., SQL, and software testing required. Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently while being flexible to change. Ability to effectively present to and interact with all levels of management and stakeholders.
