Tool Room Attendant

We are seeking a dependable
Tool Room Attendant
to oversee the issue, tracking, and maintenance of tools and equipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support production and maintenance teams by ensuring tools are properly maintained and available when needed. Duties and Responsibilities
Issue, receive, and properly store tools, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain accurate
tool inventory records
using manual logs or computer systems.
Inspect tools for damage or wear and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure all tools are returned in good condition and accounted for after use.
Assist with ordering and stocking new tools or supplies as needed.
Perform regular inventory counts to verify accuracy.
Keep the tool room organized, clean, and safe at all times.
Provide basic instruction on tool usage and safety when required.
Assist production and maintenance teams by quickly fulfilling tool requests.
Cross-train and assist in other areas of the warehouse or yard when needed.
Follow all company
safety policies and PPE requirements .
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse, tool crib, shop, yard, or maintenance support role is a plus.
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to use basic computer systems (Microsoft Excel/Word or inventory software).
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Ability to lift up to
50 lbs
and stand/walk for extended periods.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) A plus.
Stand-up and/or Sit-Down Forklift experience (required)
