Shift Details
Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule: Weekends Only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced ICU Float Nurse to join our team. This role involves floating to all like units and requires adaptability to different patient care environments. With a patient ratio of 6:1 and 7:1 for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), this position is ideal for skilled nurses looking to make an impact in critical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Float between ICU and Progressive Care Unit as needed, ensuring flexibility and comprehensive care.
- Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent Tele RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility required.
- License/Certifications:
- Current NJ RN License (Registered Nurse)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS Certification
- Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19 (including 1 booster).

Guaranteed Hours & Contract Details
This travel nursing position guarantees 36 hours per week over a 54-week contract.
