My client is growing quickly and looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their Dallas team. If you have 8–10 years of experience, a proven track record with large-scale education, retail, or commercial projects and the ability to lead preconstruction efforts from start to finish, I want to talk to you!
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 8–12 years of estimating experience with K-12, retail, and commercial ground-up projects
- Demonstrated ability to handle projects in the $20M–$100M range
- Strong preconstruction and estimating expertise, including CMAR and Design-Build delivery methods
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Timberline, SmartBid, On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent subcontractor and vendor network in the Dallas-Fort Worth market
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to mentor junior estimators
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead estimating efforts on large-scale projects ($20M–$100M) in K-12, retail, and commercial ground-up construction
- Review design documents and provide accurate cost input during preconstruction phases
- Oversee subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and cost evaluations
- Prepare detailed scopes of work, budgets, and turnover packages
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and owners to ensure competitive and accurate bids
