Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will perform non-invasive diagnostic procedures to detect, localize, and quantify vascular diseases in the upper and lower extremities, neck, abdomen, and thorax.

• Conduct Sonographic Extracranial Carotid Duplex examinations, Ankle/Brachial Indices, Segmental Doppler Pressures, and other peripheral vascular diagnostic exams.
• Independently evaluate normal vs. abnormal test results, provide preliminary ultrasound findings to attending physicians, and train new specialists and students in non-invasive procedures.
• Develop and present formal in-services for technical, nursing, and medical staff on non-invasive peripheral vascular procedures.
• Provide outstanding service to patients, adapt the environment for patient comfort, and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
