Berman Subaru of Chicago (60641) Schedule:
Full Time (5 days week) Pay Scale:
$22-$31/HR (BOE, ASE Certs and/or Training) Benefits: Union Shop Company PAID Health Insurance & Pension Company PAID ASE Certifications Company PAID Manufacturer Training & Travel Company PAID Tool Insurance Competitive PTO Plan, earn 2 weeks within the first year! Company Provided Uniforms - Including Gloves! 401k Automotive Parts & Vehicle Purchasing Discounts Ability to work on your own and/or your family's vehicle after hours! Responsibilities: Perform accurate and timely vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and identify vehicle issues Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs Document all repair and maintenance work performed, including parts used and labor time Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated completion times Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous training and development Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations Qualifications
ASE Certifications, Subaru training preferred Proficient in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must be willing to submit a background screening
