The Career Consultant, Associate position focuses on providing individualized support and strategies for candidates in transition. The goal is to help them identify career options and achieve successful outcomes, such as transitioning to a new role, changing careers, pursuing entrepreneurship, or active retirement.

Greater Minneapolis, MN - Remote. Candidates must reside within this region. Language
English (additional languages are a plus) Key Responsibilities
Assist candidates with career transition needs, including managing change, skills assessment, goal setting, resume and LinkedIn profile development, interview preparation, negotiation, and job integration. Support candidates in building confidence, assessing skills, and creating tailored career marketing plans aligned with their experience and the job market. Engage proactively with candidates using LHH resources and technology tools. Demonstrate expertise in current job-related technologies such as LinkedIn, AI, ChatGPT, ATS, and research databases. Help connect candidates to job opportunities through LHH tools and resources, including referrals and job sites, complying with governmental requirements. Provide coaching for interviews and salary negotiations to help candidates confidently navigate their job search. Manage time and priorities related to program deliverables, candidate reporting, customer projects, and participate in training and events. Candidate Profile
At least 8 years of professional experience in Career Consulting or related fields such as HR, recruitment, leadership development, training, or management consulting. Experience across diverse industries, including IT, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, marketing, or hospitality. Strong knowledge of job market trends and talent acquisition strategies, including ATS, sourcing, and interview processes. Proficiency with technology tools like Zoom, Teams, portals, and Microsoft Office. Service-oriented with a passion for helping individuals and a curiosity about various careers and industries. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple roles requiring coaching, empathy, technology, and analytical skills. College degree preferred. What We Offer
