Draft, negotiate, and review commercial leasing agreements, with a primary focus on
retail leasing . Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including landlords, tenants, developers, and lenders. Advise clients on zoning, land use, title matters, and other real estate-related legal issues. Manage multiple transactions and client demands in a
high-volume, fast-paced environment . Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations. Required Qualifications:
5–8 years
of substantive real estate legal experience at a national or Am Law 200 firm. Extensive
retail and commercial leasing
experience is a must. Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and eligible to waive into the jurisdiction of practice, if not already licensed. Strong academic credentials (Top 25% law school class rank preferred). Demonstrated ability to independently manage transactions from start to finish. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ideal Candidate Traits:
Highly responsive and self-motivated with a proactive mindset. Capable of operating effectively under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Team-oriented, yet able to operate autonomously.
