Exteriors Business Manager
Job Purpose:
To achieve or surpass sales targets for volume and profit margins by engaging leads and employing effective sales techniques. The role involves assisting potential clients with exterior home improvement projects and maintaining relationships for repeat business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Achieve or exceed sales targets for volume and profit margins.
Demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in planning and selling exterior remodeling projects.
Conduct sales calls, complete project selections at the time of sale, or recommend remodeling work based on evaluations.
Create and present detailed project proposals, including scope, specifications, designs, selections, and accurate pricing.
Maintain accurate client data and documents using CRM systems.
Build and sustain trust-based relationships with clients.
Collaborate with team members to provide tailored solutions to clients.
Stay informed about industry products, technology, and trends.
Participate in trade shows as required.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in residential remodeling sales.
Preferred: 2 years of college or technical education in a related field.
Strong knowledge of the construction industry, especially roofs, siding, windows, and doors.
Proficiency with home building and remodeling products.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Professional, reliable, and self-motivated.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Own and maintain reliable transportation for local client visits.
Ability to safely climb ladders and handle up to 50 lbs.
