Exteriors Business Manager Job Purpose:
Reach or exceed sales objectives for both volume and direct margin by calling on leads and using positive selling techniques to assist potential clients in purchasing exterior home improvement projects and to maintain client relationships to ensure repeat business. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Reach or exceed sales objectives for both sales volume and profit margin. Plan and sell exterior remodeling projects with enthusiasm and creativity. Conduct sales calls, complete project selections at the time of sale, or recommend remodeling work based on evaluation. Create and present detailed project proposals including scope, specifications, designs, selections, and accurate pricing. Maintain accurate client data and documents using CRM. Build and sustain trust-based relationships with clients. Collaborate with team members to provide tailored solutions. Stay informed about products, construction technology, and industry trends. Participate in trade shows as required. Minimum Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in residential remodeling sales. Preferably, 2 years of college or technical education in a related field. Strong knowledge of the construction industry, especially roofs, siding, windows, and doors. Working knowledge of home building and remodeling products. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Professionalism and reliability. Ability to deliver excellent service, be proactive, and exercise good judgment. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Own and maintain reliable transportation for local travel. Ability to safely climb ladders and handle up to 50 lbs.
