Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Day Shift
Job Description
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage distribution. You will work in a temperature-controlled environment, operating various types of forklifts and pallet jacks to manage inventory and assist in the distribution process.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, both sit and stand, and electronic pallet jacks, both single and double pallet.
Pick orders using onboard POS computers and paper pick sheets.
Utilize RF scan guns and barcode sticker printers for order management.
Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect product, and forward information to the receiving clerk.
Perform pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, staging, and loading of outbound trailers.
Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and date coding.
Essential Skills
Experience in a temperature-controlled environment.
Experience in food and beverage distribution.
Proficiency in operating forklifts and electronic pallet jacks.
Experience in cold storage distribution with 3-4+ years of tenure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English to perform various tasks.
Capability to operate various configurations of equipment, including forklifts and handheld scanners.
Good judgment for safe and efficient handling of customers' products.
Ability to work in cold environments and withstand cold temperatures.
Physical capability to meet requirements including standing, sitting, walking, and lifting 20 to 100 pounds.
