Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties shall be assigned to meet business needs.
• Responsible for True-up activities, including, but not limited to, true-up scheduling based on production schedule, verifying inbounds/outbounds have been entered into SAP correctly, compiling adjustments and disposal information to ensure removal from SAP, and reconciling variances versus SAP (prior to and during true-up). • Assist in scheduling, preparing for, and managing through customer inventory audits. • Provide timely communication and completion of customer requests. • Develop and maintain solid and collaborative relationships with all internal and external Customers. • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and responds to requests. • Ensure professional, consistent, and timely communication. • Prepare warehouse operation and inventory reporting, including KPI trend graphs. • Development of relevant SOPs • Execute CHEP pallet reconciliations within the specified cadence. • Drive continuous improvement – Work with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement and develop/implement best
practices/routines. • Perform weekly Gemba and Inventory audits within the warehouse. • Analyze on-hand inventory to monitor accuracy and ensure inventory attributes are correct (ship-by days, expiration dates, batch numbers, etc) • Visually inspect and count inventory where necessary • Work with warehouse/3PL to ensure that requests such as BOLs and other inventory documentation are provided to customers promptly. • Run various system reports as appropriate. • Identify root causes or other analysis of processes and procedures that allow for discrepancies and/or inaccuracies in the integrity of the perpetual inventory. • Continue to learn and develop knowledge regarding warehouse and logistics processes. • Support where necessary and drive improvement of 3PL inventory KPIs
Education/Training: • High School diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree with a management or supply chain background is preferred. • 1-3 years of direct inventory experience • Strong understanding of inventory control procedures • Excellent analytical skills • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.) • Collaborative; works well in a team environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with WMS/ERP systems such as SAP. • Experience in food service distribution preferred.
