Survey Office Technician |

Starting Salary Range: $52,000-65,000 EFK Moen, LLC, is a civil engineering design consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with additional office locations in St. Charles, Missouri, Chicago and Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia. We are currently seeking a Survey Office Technician for a full-time position in our St. Louis, Missouri office. Our company offers a locally competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package. Job Description: Under the direct supervision of our Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and Survey Manager, the Survey Office Technician will be responsible for assisting with daily operations within the Survey Department. The majority of our work is on highway and bridge design projects which range in scope from small to multimillion-dollar designs. Services are provided to a wide range of clients that include state DOTs, municipal and county governmental agencies and other engineering firms. Duties & Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive: Maintain clear, concise, and accurate office files Support the Project Surveyors to efficiently complete tasks assigned to office staff Support the Survey Field Crews to efficiently complete tasks assigned to field crews Provide coordination and expertise related to the work of field survey crews and office staff Review survey crew field work Prepare accurate computer drafted surveys, plats, topographic surveys, and engineering surveys based on field surveys Research and prepare land descriptions and maps in accordance with applicable standards Perform other job duties as assigned Minimum
Knowledge/Qualifications,
Skills & Abilities: High school diploma 5+ years of experience in a similar position Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Strong verbal, written and organizational skills Proficient with mathematical
computations/calculations
