Paramount Group Chicago
Social Media Coordinator - The Paramount Group
Paramount Group Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, United States
Job Description
Job Description Description: Are you the person who always knows the latest social media trends, can spot the perfect angle for a photo, and loves turning small moments into big content? The Paramount Group is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support our growing portfolio of hospitality brands. This role is all about execution - creating, capturing, and publishing content that showcases our culinary, event, and lifestyle experiences. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Social Media to bring content calendars to life, ensure posts go out on time, and keep our communities engaged across multiple accounts. It’s the perfect opportunity for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter who is eager to grow in hospitality marketing and take ownership of their work. At The Paramount Group, you’ll be part of a team that lives at the intersection of food, events, and lifestyle. From intimate dinners to large-scale productions, our brands thrive on creating memorable experiences — and you’ll have the chance to bring them to life online. If you’re creative, passionate about hospitality, and ready to take ownership of multiple dynamic brands, we want to hear from you.
Please include your portfolio, social media handles, or samples of work with your application.
Key Responsibilities: Report to the Director of Social Media and support day-to-day social media efforts across multiple brands. Develop and execute content calendars that align with brand objectives and campaigns. Concept, capture, and edit high-quality content including photography, Reels, and TikToks. Design engaging social media graphics using Canva. Contribute to the development and formatting of branded marketing collateral such as proposals, decks, event signage, menus, labels, stickers, and other printed materials. Manage daily community engagement, responding to comments and DMs while maintaining elevated hospitality standards. Collaborate with the marketing team and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns, events, and promotions are communicated and executed seamlessly. Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep the brands fresh and relevant. Support with event coverage, both on-site and real-time, including nights and weekends.
Requirements: Requirements: Available during weekday office hours, with flexibility for nights and weekends to support event coverage and content capture. 1–3 years of social media management experience (hospitality, food & beverage, and events preferred). Proven ability to create and edit engaging social-first content (photo, video, Reels, TikTok). Strong iPhone photography and videography skills for high-quality content creation. Proficiency in Canva; basic graphic design experience required. Strong copywriting skills, able to tailor messaging to each platform. Excellent understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools. Highly organized and able to juggle multiple accounts, campaigns, and deadlines. Collaborative team player with a proactive, self-starter mindset. Comfortable working some evenings/weekends for event coverage and content capture.
