Revenue Consultant, MassMutual Investments Full-Time, Boston or Springfield, MA office The Opportunity We’re looking for a self-motivated team player to join as a Revenue Operations Consultant. In this position, you’ll become part of the MM Investment Operations Team. This team is comprised of professionals who focus on Fund Performance, Audit & Controls, Ledger, Revenue, and more. In the Revenue Operations Consultant role, you will provide a wide variety of duties within the department, with a focus and ownership on strategies and process related to monthly and quarterly fund revenue collection (12b-1 and Admin fees) and payments for Annuity and Investment only business lines. You’ll participate in executing agreements and amendments to existing agreements in support of Life and Annuities products including negotiation and coordination with MM Law and Fund companies. The Team Our small, highly motivated, and independent team interacts with internal and external stakeholders to produce Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Fund Performance, Fund Revenue Payable and Receivables, and interact directly with Fund Companies and Intermediaries. The Impact: The Revenue Operations Consultant will work closely with the department head to position MassMutual’s Revenue collection, accounting, distribution, and reporting to be efficient, automated, timely, and accurate. Primary Responsibilities Serve as an internal and external business process/12b1 Revenue expert Independently drive process improvement. Revenue Collection and reconciliation for MassMutual Separate accounts and Investment only Investments Participate in Revenue negotiations for new funds or amendments Monitor MassMutual separate account revenue payments and instruct on cash movement where necessary Contribute, review, and streamline the Investment Only revenue payment process including quarterly Board Reporting and preparation of fee data for the Fund Board of Directors Process support, as needed, for any Investment Only (IO) revenue as needed on a monthly/quarterly basis Conduct market and competitor analysis to effectively position MassMutual’s strategies for maximum efficiency and automation The Minimum Qualifications 5+ years industry experience, preferably in a similar capacity 3+ years’ experience with 12b1 Fund Revenue business processes, processing, agreements Proficient knowledge of Broker/Dealer agreements/Revenue flows a plus The Ideal Qualifications Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions Intellectual curiosity, solutions-oriented mindset Ability to work collaboratively and across functions Comfort with a fast-paced, changing environment Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Position Location You will be required to work from our Springfield, MA office in a hybrid capacity (3 days a week) What to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the Team Regular meetings with the Investment Operations Team Focused one-on-one meetings with your manager Access to mentorship opportunities Networking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQ, Veteran and disability-focused Business Resource Groups Access to learning content on Degreed and other informational platforms Your ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical business with industry leading pay and benefits Salary Range: $76,200.00-$100,000.00 At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees.
