We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA with expertise in managing SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, and 2014 databases. The candidate should have an understanding of new features in SQL Server 2016 preview and solid knowledge of SQL Server replication and high-availability solutions such as failover clustering, AlwaysOn, log shipping, and database mirroring. The role requires a hands-on, technically skilled DBA capable of performing tasks including backup/restore, clustering/replication setup, patching, and automation. Knowledge of PowerShell and Puppet is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills are essential. The candidate should have the ability to diagnose, triage, and resolve issues across various tiers: application, network, database, server, or storage. Experience with configuration management tools is a plus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, and energetic. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.
