Position Overview Seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Defense Attorney to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for a passionate legal professional who is eager to handle complex medical malpractice cases while benefiting from thw firm's commitment to mentorship, professional development, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of defense cases from inception to resolution. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Collaborate with clients, medical experts, and other professionals to build strong cases. Represent clients in court, mediation, and settlement negotiations. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar in South Carolina Minimum 3 years of experience in GL litigation. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with legal technology and case management software.
