This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence-Office of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC. As an Administrative Management Specialist, you will be encompassing duties dealing with a wide range of analytical operational program resource work.
Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Requirements
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience:
Specialized experience for the GS-11: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following: Possessing a wide range of administrative experience such as handling multiple phone line usage, proofreading/editing all correspondence, utilizing advanced software programs, managing daily scheduling, and recognizing when others need assistance and responding with positive support to advance team or unit goals; AND Arranging for meetings with representatives of government agencies, corporations, and/or foreign governments and using communication skills to verify, commit, and notify all attendees and those briefing the office executives of scheduled appointments; AND Providing advice and guidance to lower level office personnel in completion of assigned tasks, ensuring timely outcome of actions, and application of customer service. OR You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions.
