Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $27/hour Location: Houston, TX Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ (hybrid) Assignment Duration: 12 months+ Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years experience with Corporate Payroll experience, multi-state end 2+ to end payroll preferred Planning, prioritization of work, and organizational skills to ensure all administrative duties are completed High personal credibility and ethical standards to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information High dependability and concern for others to ensure needs of others are met Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) including proficiencies with spelling, grammar, and punctuation Ability to read, write and speak in English Understanding of Importance of Safe Work Practices Responsibilities: Responsible for the processing of biweekly and monthly payrolls for 1200 to 2,000 employees located in various states. Payroll processing includes reconciliation of earnings, deductions, and taxes, running audit reports and submitting reconciliations to management for review and approval Work with managers to ensure that the worked time for non-exempt employees is approved by the established deadline Payroll Input as needed Payroll Tax Adjustments and company reclasses Process On Demand Payments & Manual payments as needed Process EIB Loads Run/audit Payroll Integrations Tax and Payment elections set-ups/audits W2 Corrections as needed Garnishment/Tax Levy Set-ups Stuffing and distribution of payroll checks and pay slips Manage Case Management and the Payroll Help Line - Assist Human Resources, Benefits, and employees with payroll related questions Special projects and responsibilities as assigned Other duties as assigned The Bergaila Way: The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
