Job Description:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a financial leadership role within a nonprofit health care or social service organization, with experience managing grant and federal fund compliance. Experience with complex budgets, fund accounting, and government regulations is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; MBA, CPA, or other relevant credential is strongly preferred.
- Fundraising Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit fund accounting, audit preparation, and financial forecasting. Strong background in developing and managing multi-million-dollar budgets, overseeing audits, and implementing internal controls.
- Grant Compliance: Experience managing diverse funding streams, including federal, state, and private grants. Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements, particularly in healthcare or 340B funds.
- Technology Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks and Excel. Experience integrating financial systems and improving financial workflows is a plus.
