Neopolis is partnering with a high-growth automation and data company, backed by $50M+ in venture funding, to lead the search for their first marketing leader. This is a rare opportunity to build the marketing engine at a company solving complex enterprise problems in automation and intelligent document processing.
In a crowded market with over a hundred players, this company has strong product differentiation and is now focused on sharpening its go-to-market execution through brand, demand, and storytelling.
The Opportunity
As the Founding Head of Marketing, you’ll architect and lead the company’s marketing function from scratch. You’ll manage a DevRel lead and Growth Engineer , owning the full spectrum of enterprise marketing, product marketing, and demand generation.
You’ll partner directly with founders and senior leadership to craft a modern GTM strategy inspired by best-in-class companies like Vercel, Ramp, Databricks, and Cohere —while staying deeply hands-on in execution.
What You’ll Do
- Build and lead the marketing function from zero
- Manage and grow a cross-functional marketing team
- Own enterprise marketing strategy and execution (ABM, demand gen, pipeline growth)
- Launch foundational marketing channels: content, email, case studies, webinars, customer stories
- Lead product positioning and messaging to drive differentiation
- Collaborate with leadership on brand narrative and category definition
- Report directly to CEO and own measurable impact across brand, leads, and revenue
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally at high-growth automation, data, or infrastructure companies
- Experience as a founding or early-stage marketing hire at a startup (ideally within its first 6 years)
- Deep expertise in enterprise GTM, ABM, and demand generation
- Strong operator with ability to build, lead, and scale a marketing function
- Background in developer-focused or AI/automation marketing a plus
- Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute fast
