Role

• Develop detailed network designs to include switches, routers, taclanes, F5 Load Balancers, IP Management, VPNs, DHCP, Firewalls ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, installations, and changes using Visio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network infrastructure with broader IT and cybersecurity systems.
• Conduct thorough testing of network systems to ensure functionality, performance, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation and testing phases.
• Conduct site surveys when needed.

Skills Needed

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Currently possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance and CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with Cisco technologies such as Cisco Catalyst Center (FKA DNAC) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Experience managing networking hardware including routers, switches, and load balancers and network security best practices.
• Familiarity with RSA Authentication, load balancer setup and management to optimize traffic distribution.
• Strong background in network architecture design, including developing end-to-end infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and risk management, especially at OSI Layers 1-3.
• Experience with network design and implementation in federal, DoD, or other regulated environments.
