Description
- Ensure Contract Document Logs are established and maintained
- Ensure status reports on RFIs, Submittals and other documents are prepared and presented
- Write effective scopes of work for bid packages
- Issue requests for quotes and follow up with subcontractors
- Timely document field quality activities
- Prepare change management reports, estimates and other cost report documents
- Establish and maintain the project quality files and documentation systems
- Promote organizational change initiatives and adapt to new structures and processes
- Understand customer goals and needs and act with urgency to demonstrate value
- Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks with potential to generate opportunities
- Abide by the company Code of Conduct daily
- Create and maintain construction schedules with critical path methods
Profile / Qualifications
- 5-10 years in commercial and podium multi-family projects preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of construction principals/practices
- Experience directing and coordinating trades
- Experience working with a Project Management team and successful completion of projects
- Knowledge of San Diego trades and permit process a plus
- Solid computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and leadership
