Sky Gem Solutions is seeking a CPA / Director of Finance to serve as the financial right hand to our CEO, Jason Mandel — a former Wall Street executive with 25+ years at Cantor Fitzgerald, D.E. Shaw, and LeFrak.
This is a high-trust, high-impact role where your insights and precision will directly influence the financial strategy of ultra-high-net-worth families, as well as the growth of our internal portfolio.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations for Sky Gem Solutions
- Manage bookkeeping in QuickBooks, including reconciliations and monthly closings
- Prepare and analyze internal financial reports — P&Ls, cashflows, performance metrics
- Liaise with external CPAs, tax professionals, and auditors, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Lead tax prep and reporting cycles with timely documentation and filings
- Build and maintain internal systems for cashflow, reporting, and financial documentation
- Manage the relationship with the fund administrator, overseeing fund tracking, reporting, and project management
- Prepare and distribute investor communications — electronic subscriptions, monthly letters, and marketing documents
- Conduct deal evaluation and due diligence on prospective investments
- Model loan structures, investment frameworks, and overall fund strategy
- Partner with leadership to align financial operations with growth initiatives and investment opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- CPA certified (Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required)
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven experience in financial reporting, modeling, and deal analysis
- Excellent communicator — comfortable presenting insights directly to leadership
- Integrity, precision, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
