Senior Human Resources Business Partner - Pharmaceuticals

Onsite in eastern Washington State – Relocation provided.

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) collaborates with departmental leadership to implement, administer, and coordinate strategic HR initiatives. This role drives organizational performance through effective use of people and resources, supports leadership in driving employee engagement and culture initiatives, and ensures compliance with policies and legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Culture & Engagement: Promote a 'best place to work' mindset and lead employee engagement initiatives.
  • Talent Management: Drive succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
  • HR Strategy: Translate business objectives into HR solutions; lead change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a strategic advisor on employee concerns; lead investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide HR team members including HR Generalists and Coordinators.
  • Legal & Documentation: Oversee immigration processes and manage responses to internal/external legal claims.
  • Annual Processes: Lead workforce planning, budgeting, merit increases, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Skills: Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and HRIS proficiency (e.g., PeopleSoft, ADP).

Industry Experience: Experience in regulated industries such as manufacturing or healthcare is a plus.
