Pay Information $2,840 per week About The Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 8 or 10-hour days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Large hospital experience with 250 plus beds and level 1 trauma status - Experience working in an acute facility with 15 or more OR suites - Experience with robotics, DaVinci preferred - Strong general and ENT experience Description: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating and documenting care for patients in the operative setting. This includes sterile prepping of surgical sites and catheter insertion. Nurses will open sterile supplies and position patients for surgical procedures. Additionally, they will document within an electronic record and utilize operating room equipment as directed. Proficiency with computerized charting is vital. Experience with Accudose, cautery, lasers, laparoscopic equipment, arthroscopy equipment, and Stealth navigation for Neuro cases is essential. Experience with Neuro and Ortho procedures, as well as navigation, is required. The nurse to patient ratio in this unit is 1 to 1. Nurses must be willing to float to other units or departments as needed. Clinicians must badge in and out of the facility and adhere to scrubs color requirements. Rotating shifts to pm hours may be required. Call responsibilities will be 1 to 2 days per week and every 3 to 4 weekends.
