Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with recent high-volume L&D and Epic charting experience.Job Details•Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit,•Unit has 11-20 beds,•Patient population consists of laboring women and newborns with approximately 250 births per month,•Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2,•Duties include circulating and scrubbing for procedures such as C-sections, NSTs, Pitocin and Cytotec inductions, epidurals, amnio infusions, and versions,•Required to float to Postpartum as needed,•12-hour night shifts with every third weekend required,•Uses Epic EMR with experience required,•Light blue scrubs required,Job Requirements•Active IA or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration,•Proof of residence required for Compact license holders,•Current BLS, ACLS, EFM, and NRP certifications required,•Minimum one year of recent L&D experience in the last year at a facility with at least 250 births per month,•Experience with intermediate fetal heart monitoring required,•Must have experience circulating C-sections,•Epic EMR experience required,•Driver's license required and must match address on Compact license,•Must not have been employed by the client in the previous 12 months,•Compliance with a 60-mile radius rule for travel rate eligibility,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include supporting laboring patients, performing deliveries, and assisting with high-risk and high-acuity cases,•Expected to provide float support to the postpartum unit as needed,•No on-call requirements,•Candidates are expected to manage typical and complex L&D cases in a high-acuity, high-volume environment,•Holiday and every third weekend coverage is required,•Only one submission allowed at a time for consideration at this facility,•First-time travelers are accepted,•A virtual interview process will be conducted,),•hash,:• ,
