Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: OB Unit, Wausau, WI Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,310 - $2,470 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: September 2, 2025 Shifts: 12-hour days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation Unit Details: 11-bed Labor & Delivery, 8-bed Postpartum, 1,350 annual deliveries Charting: EPIC EMR (EPIC experience preferred) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent OB nursing experience with proven Labor & Delivery competency Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required Current AHA BLS and Advanced NRP certifications EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (per radius rule) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver expert patient care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy OB unit Monitor, assess, and support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective patient care Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR Participate in every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation as scheduled Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and clinical excellence in a dynamic hospital environment Take the next step in your travel nursing career with this rewarding Labor & Delivery RN job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
