Details:

• Shift: 12-hr Nights

• Schedule: 36 hrs/week guaranteed

• Weekends: Every other

• Holidays: As needed

• On Call: TBD

• Floating: May float between Acute Rehab/Acute Med Surg

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients

• Participates in patient and family teaching

• Provides leadership and works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel

• Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

• May be asked to serve as backup Charge Nurse

Unit Info:

• EMR: Cerner

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4/5

• Average daily census: 22

Requirements:

• Current RN license (VT or compact)

• Experience in Med Surg/Telemetry required

• Strong clinical leadership skills preferred
