This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. Customer Service Associates collaborate with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs and provide information about Sherwin-Williams products, ensuring they receive the best solutions tailored to them. You will be responsible for promptly addressing customer concerns, aiming to achieve maximum satisfaction, and staying informed about product features to maintain store quality and visual standards. Your efforts will contribute to achieving outstanding customer service and meeting sales targets consistently. Roles may include direct contact with customers, including minors, and managing cash and payment methods. Due to the access to valuable items and information, a review of criminal history will be conducted to ensure the safety and security of our customers, staff, and operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assist customers in person and over the phone by understanding needs and recommending appropriate products. Build productive trust relationships with customers. Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies. Follow sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain organized work order files and product formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse. Mix and tint products according to customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up displays to maintain store organization. Perform routine cleaning of store equipment. Load and unload delivery trucks. Assist with deliveries as needed. Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing. Remain knowledgeable about the products offered. Adhere to inventory control procedures. Propose suggestions to enhance sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Authorized to work in the country with no need for visa sponsorship. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Able to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion. Willing to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends. Internal candidates must meet performance expectations on their latest appraisal. Completion of HR training eLearning courses is required if currently employed in Sherwin-Williams. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles. Experience with selling paint and related products. Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including Spanish.
