We are looking for a senior HR Business Partner based in the San Francisco Bay Area to support General & Administrative functions, including Finance, Legal, Policy, and parts of the People organization including Recruiting. This role will be a critical member of the HRBP team, working on key HR projects in alignment with partners across Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and other teams, while providing coaching and strategic support to senior leaders and managers across G&A functions to enable Anthropic's mission to create safe, beneficial AI systems. Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across Finance, Legal, Policy, and People teams, including senior executives Provide support to employees and managers on all human resource-related topics throughout their lifecycle in partnership with other People team experts (e.g. Benefits, Compensation, etc.) Collaborate with management to foster a culture of high performance based on values and team culture; support performance management and employee relations in a compliant manner Partner with specialist teams (e.g. Benefits, Compensation), leadership, and finance to implement scalable programs and policies that attract, retain, and grow talent Work on cross-functional projects with other HRBPs and partners to enable and grow our teams Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives specific to business-critical G&A functions You may be a good fit if you

Have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in HRBP, People Operations, Employee Relations, Recruiting, or related fields Have experience in a fast-growing tech company, with fluency in North American employment law and best practices Have worked in a tech company, start-up, or similarly fast-paced environment Understand the needs and challenges of supporting G&A functions in a high-growth setting Strong candidates may also

Have experience partnering with Finance, Legal, Policy, or People teams Have experience supporting functions in regulated or compliance-focused environments Care about diversity and inclusion and excel at supporting employees and managers to perform their best Have proven ability to provide confidential, practical support and training in conflict resolution Have working knowledge of HR best practices and ability to implement them in a culturally appropriate way Be a pragmatic problem-solver, enjoy developing creative solutions, and thrive in building scalable processes Care about safe development of advanced AI systems and have curiosity about AI and its applications Compensation

The expected salary range is $245,000 – $300,000 USD. Logistics

At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Location-based hybrid policy:
