People Partner, G&A at Anthropic. This role focuses on General & Administrative functions including Finance, Legal, Policy, and parts of the People organization such as Recruiting. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, helping design and implement HR policies and programs that support Anthropic's mission to create safe and beneficial AI systems. Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across Finance, Legal, Policy, and People teams, including senior executives Provide support to employees and managers on all human resource-related topics throughout their lifecycle in partnership with Benefits, Compensation, and other People team experts Collaborate with management to foster a high-performance culture aligned with our values; support performance management and employee relations as needed Partner with specialist teams (Benefits, Compensation, etc.), leadership, and finance to implement scalable programs and policies to attract, retain, and grow talent Work on cross-functional projects with other HRBPs and partners to enable and grow our teams (e.g., manager training) Partner with G&A leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development for business-critical functions You May Be a Good Fit If You
Have a minimum of 6-10 years in HRBP, People Operations, Employee Relations, Recruiting, or related functions Have experience in a fast-growing tech environment; fluent with North American employment law and best practices Have worked in tech, startup, or similarly fast-paced settings Understand the needs and challenges of supporting G&A functions in a high-growth context Strong Candidates May Also
Have experience partnering with Finance, Legal, Policy, or People teams Have experience in regulated or compliance-focused environments Be inclusive and supportive of a diverse workforce; provide confidential, practical support (e.g., conflict resolution) Have strong knowledge of HR best practices and ability to implement them in a culturally appropriate way Be a pragmatic problem-solver, enjoy creative solutions, and thrive in scaling processes Care about AI safety and curiosity about AI applications Annual Salary
USD $245,000 - $300,000 Logistics
Education requirements:
At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Location-based hybrid policy:
Staff are expected to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more time in the office. Visa sponsorship:
