A law firm seeks a Patent Attorney with expertise in chemistry to join their Washington, D.C. office. The role involves supporting the firm's patent prosecution practice and assisting clients in protecting their technology.
Duties
Draft and prosecute patent applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Manage assignments from multiple partners and clients. Requirements
2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution. Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Patent Bar eligible and, if applicable, licensed to practice law in the respective state. Strong time management and deadline management skills. Excellent attention to detail, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Education
Master's Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry, organic chemistry, applied chemistry, polymer science, polymer engineering, biochemistry, or a related field. Certifications
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Skills
