This role is pivotal to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Associate, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide insightful recommendations on Sherwin-Williams products. Your primary focus will be to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and staying informed about product features to uphold the store's high-quality and visual standards.
In addition to delivering excellent customer service, you'll work towards meeting the store's sales targets. Your responsibilities will involve various customer interactions, which may include minors, as well as handling cash and electronic transactions. A background check will be conducted to maintain a safe environment for our customers and team.
You will be required to work at stores located within a 30-mile radius of 1242 Shelburne Road, South Burlington, VT 05403.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction. Assist customers in person and via phone to identify their needs and recommend suitable products. Establish trustworthy relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately and in line with company policies. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets. Maintain organized work order files and product formulas. Retrieve products from sales and warehouse areas. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Restock shelves and create attractive displays. Maintain cleanliness of store equipment. Receive and manage delivery loads. Support delivery activities when necessary. Keep assigned areas stocked and visually appealing. Stay informed about product offerings and options. Adhere to inventory control standards. Propose ideas to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must have legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to retrieve materials and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Availability to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must meet performance expectations and complete required HR training. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles. Experience in selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in more than one language, particularly Spanish.
