Join our retail team as a Customer Service Associate, a role crucial to our store's success! In this position, you will meet with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer questions about our Sherwin-Williams products, and provide recommendations. Your commitment to resolving customer concerns will ensure maximum client satisfaction, while you stay informed about new product features, contributing to maintaining high visual standards in-store.
Your ability to deliver exceptional customer service will directly support our store's sales goals. Responsibilities include engaging with customers, handling cash transactions, using electronic equipment, and maintaining the integrity of our store's merchandise. Due to the nature of this role, a criminal history review is necessary to protect our clients and team members.
As a valued team member, you will be expected to work at various stores within a 10-mile radius of store #705220, located at: 635 County Road 39A, Southampton NY 11968.

Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction. Assist customers in person or over the phone to understand their needs. Build trusting relationships with customers. Accurately process sales transactions. Work towards achieving sales goals consistently. Maintain organized work order files and product formulas. Retrieve and prepare products for customers. Mix and tint products to meet customer specifications. Stock shelves and create product displays. Keep equipment clean and perform inventory controls. Offer suggestions for improving sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Legally authorized to work without sponsorship. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Familiarity with selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in multiple languages, especially Spanish is a plus.
