As a Customer Service Expert at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, provide answers to their inquiries about our products, and recommend tailored solutions. Your main objective will be to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction while supporting the store's sales objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards in store presentation.
Engaging with customers both in-person and over the phone to determine their needs and present suitable products and services.
Building and nurturing productive trust-based relationships with customers.
Accurately processing sales transactions in alignment with company policies.
Meeting or exceeding sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Maintaining detailed work order files and product formulations.
Efficiently pulling products from sales areas or warehouses, and tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications.
Organizing store shelves and creating visually appealing displays.
Performing routine equipment cleaning and maintaining a presentable store environment.
Handling inventory control procedures and suggesting strategies for sales improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in both English and Spanish.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
High School diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
Previous experience selling paint and related products.
Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
