Collaborate closely with partners, managing directors, senior managers and engagement teams to lead complex ERP tax integration projects, working across the entire end-to-end delivery lifecycle Support the associated sales/pursuit process for new engagements Help clients leverage SAP technology and related third-party applications to realize enterprise value by improving their tax function (supporting and automating internal and external operations) Manage multiple projects simultaneously while developing and mentoring the next generation of tax professionals in the practice Skills And Attributes For Success
Ability to understand key tax processes and translate those requirements into SAP solutions Collaborative work with cross-functional tax, advisory and assurance teams Ability to provide input into thought leadership Delivering quality work aligned with business metrics To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a master’s degree in Accounting, Tax Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Minimum of five years of related experience Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to state Bar or progress toward these Strong interest in technology and its use in business processes Excellent communication and business writing skills Problem-solving aptitude with an entrepreneurial approach Strong organizational and time management skills with client-serving capabilities Demonstrated ability to sell and deliver large enterprise programs Broad understanding of tax accounting and major tax processes Willingness to travel as needed, and to work in a balanced hybrid environment Ideally, you'll also have
Experience implementing third-party direct or indirect tax systems (e.g., ONESOURCE, Corptax, Vertex, Avalara, Longview, etc.) Experience defining data and reporting needs for a tax department ERP experience, including SAP or Oracle Experience managing large, multidisciplinary projects impacting tax (e.g., ERP implementations, tax co-sourcing, finance transformations) What We Look For
