Gen II Fund Services . We are seeking a motivated Salesforce Developer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your existing Salesforce experience in a dynamic financial services environment while continuing to grow your technical expertise. You'll work closely with senior team members to drive platform enhancements and implement innovative solutions. A background or interest in Private Equity or alternate investments is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration
Configure security settings, user permissions, and role hierarchies
Build custom objects, fields, workflows, and automated processes using Flow Builder
Manage licenses and monitor platform performance
Support release cycles and system deployments
Stay current with Salesforce updates, security best practices, and platform capabilities
Data & Reporting
Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and quality standards across the platform
Perform data imports, exports, and cleansing activities using appropriate tools and methodologies
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support business intelligence and decision-making
Work with stakeholders to understand and translate reporting requirements into effective solutions
Support compliance and audit activities
Development
Participate in Salesforce roadmap planning and drive platform enhancement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Collaborate with architecture team to implement design principles and technical standards
Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and triggers
Support Salesforce integrations with Gen II systems, third-party systems, and middleware (HubSpot, MuleSoft, etc.)
Create custom solutions to enhance user experience
Maintain code quality through testing and debugging
Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
Follow Salesforce best practices and coding standards
Create and maintain technical documentation
User Support & Integration
Provide first-level support to end-users and escalate complex issues appropriately
Troubleshoot system issues
Assist with Salesforce license management and optimization
Requirements
Required
2+ years Salesforce administration and development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
Understanding of Salesforce best practices and industry trends
Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Salesforce Sales Cloud
Experience with Salesforce configuration, user management, security settings, record pages, and automation (Flows)
Experience with Custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving business needs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with unit testing and debugging
Preferred
Salesforce certification is highly desirable (Administrator, Platform Developer I)
Experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds including: Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and DevOps tools
Financial services or private equity background
Experience working in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar system
Experience working within Agile Framework
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$130,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
Location This role can be based in our Boca Raton (USA), Boston (USA), or New York (USA). This position will work a hybrid schedule, comprised of a minimum of four (4) days a week in our office and one (1) day remote.
