The Ned’s Club DC offers a variety of spaces for eating, drinking and entertaining, each offering signature dishes and a selection of cocktails and drinks from around the world. As our Security Agent you will be tasked with the safety and security of our club, guests and employees. The goal is to ensure our club operations run smoothly and are protected under your care. What’s the role? Security Agent Who We Are… The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned London launched in 2017 and we are opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location. The Property… Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building. The Riggs Building is opposite the US Treasury, located near the White House. The Club features a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant, Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory with private event spaces on level nine. As a Security Agent and a key part of the Operations team, you will: Patrol and monitor premises, conduct regular patrols of the club including member areas and back-of-house to ensure security and detect irregularities Respond to incidents or disturbances, including member complaints, unauthorized persons on property, emergency situations Member and guest relations: provide assistance and support to members and guests addressing security-related concerns or inquiries Monitor CCTV and other security equipment. Observe activities on the premises. Identify and address security breaches Write incident reports and document medically treated and non-treated injuries Uphold club policies, safety regulations and ensure adherence to conduct guidelines Support our employees with any issues or concerns they may report What you can bring to the role: Strong observational and communication skills Composed, professional demeanor An organized and disciplined manner is necessary, as impeccable record keeping is needed to maintain records for safety and audit standards Knowledge of safety and emergency protocols Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Flexibility with your schedule to balance needs of our guests Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in stressful situations Previous security experience is preferred What The Ned can give you: Salary of $27.50/hour Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD Insurance Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opens Exciting learning and development programs to help progress your career Exclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, and exclusive rates for your family and friends Paid time off 401k matching Employee assistance program - advice and support Reward and recognition initiatives All candidates must be eligible to work in the US to be considered for this role.
