As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will support your management team in the leadership of one of our venues, taking the reins whenever they aren’t on site and partnering on all elements of running a successful business. Food and Beverage Supervisor Overview
The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants. Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club on three floors in a neoclassical building, with spaces including a Rooftop Terrace, Loft Restaurant, Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. Responsibilities
Assist management in maintaining consistent delivery and ongoing improvement of service standards in alignment with company expectations. Maintain knowledge of all team roles to effectively support or step in as needed. Oversee daily operations of all dining outlets, ensuring timing, quality control and efficiency. Maintain thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus to assist both the Ned’s Club DC team and members confidently. Ensure a welcoming experience by handling guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities for positive member experience. Assist with administrative tasks as assigned. Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management. Train in all roles that support the restaurant starting from Food Runner to Bartender. Qualifications
Previous experience in food and beverage operations, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences and people management preferred. Positive, professional attitude with the ability to maintain composure under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering warm, personalized service. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Calm demeanor and a genuine passion for providing guests with an exceptional experience. Ability to stand and walk for long periods during a shift. Confidentiality when working in Club spaces with high-profile guests. What Ned’s Club can give you
