Overview
Project Manager / Knowledge Manager (Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Eligibility) – Akima, Washington, DC area. RiverTech, an Akima company, is seeking a Project Manager/Knowledge Manager to support the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations (DO) in Washington, DC. This dual-hatted role combines project management with knowledge management to implement tools and processes that automate and standardize KM across the organization, with a focus on SharePoint-based solutions and the DIA DO Common Operating Picture (COP). Responsibilities
PM Responsibilities: Reports directly to the Senior Program Manager. Act as a conduit between contract support and Government officials served by the contract. Execute all contract PWS requirements day-to-day. Ensure all contract deliverables are completed on time and meet customer standards with first-time acceptance where possible. Conduct team meetings at various levels to obtain updates and manage requirements. Manage hiring processes, evaluate resumes/applicants in iCIMS, conduct interviews, and notify recruiting teams of final selections. Conduct employee performance evaluations. Oversee and administer disciplinary processes in line with policies. Utilize PMI project management techniques to manage scope and schedule. Use software to generate task lists, checklists, schedules, and other PM documents to manage program execution. Provide updates/reports to RiverTech leadership and Government/Prime customer as required. KM Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to modernize data/information processing and provide real-time data access across DO mission areas (SharePoint, collaboration portals, internal databases, file sharing, and other platforms). Work with mission experts and leaders to plan, develop, analyze, and prioritize DO capabilities in support of DIA, DoD, and IC objectives. Develop and execute knowledge management strategies and frameworks to integrate KM across DO, ensuring consistency, standardization, quality, and compliance. Define business analytics to evaluate impact, identify efficiencies, and drive strategic planning and decision-making. Advise on industry KM best practices and foster innovation within the organization and IC. Leverage technology and automation tools to influence people, processes, culture, and structure related to KM. Provide KM support including data processing for statistical modeling and graphic analysis (metrics). Automate data collection and processing through coding; produce results in graphs, charts, tables, and metrics; prepare products describing findings. Brief senior leaders and decision makers on status, features, and benefits; contribute to monthly reports as required. Qualifications
Current active TS/SCI security clearance. Current CI Poly recognized by the DIA or ability to obtain on onboarding. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience with MS SharePoint. Experience with MS Office Suite and data/statistics manipulation. Ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills capable of briefing senior leaders. Desired Qualifications
MS Certified Solutions Expert in Excel, SharePoint, or PowerPoint or current applicable certification. HTML coding experience (e.g., Python) to develop/manage data visualization tools. Working knowledge of Tableau, ArcGIS, and ability to produce/ edit multimedia presentations in SharePoint. Job Details
